-Yes, we have a plan. To put it in generic terms, what we have to first do is to get professional help. Over the last 2 weeks, guys have taken pains to come on their personal time and money to D.C. to listen to and decide on such an organization. Not to mention the numerous telecons in which many of the volunteers have participated. On top of that we are launching on a membership drive to let people know of this organization. We are also planning on having a coordinated organized approach to meeting lawmakers.
-The funds would be primarily used to get such a professional organization. A little bit of it may be required for other purposes like say the PR /getting the message out
-The money as of now is not"going" anywhere - it is being collected for the uses I described above. Note that all the members have been spending from their pockets for all the meeting/visits I described above. Be assured that none of us are doing this for monetory reasons - in fact all we are getting is lesser time for our families and a lot of hard work.
-Unless people start contributing there is no way that we can do any of the activities mentioned above. To wait for the full details of the actions makes no sense for me. If I knew all these steps, why would I hire a strategist?! Also if people are not willing to contribute the money/ not do anything, how much committed are they to the cause?

I don't want you to freak out because my case is probably a very small fraction of the visa applications BUT since this thread is specifically related to PIMS, I thought I'd give you my example. Good news for you is, you are going to India. I was stuck in Canada not knowing long it might take for the PIMS to get updated. I ended up touring North Canada but I wish I could've traveled with a peace of mind.

I was trying to get online tickets for my parents to come from Chennai to SFO.
..I was planning to pay from here using my credit card...but guess that might not work( see text in italics below from the airline website) , My parent have an icici debit card but that one has a limit from icici for 50,000 Rs or 75,000 Rs or so, the tickets are totally 1 lakh + so trying to figure out what might be the options....
Have the physical credit card originally used for the purchase presented by the cardholder for verification at check-in, OR on collecting the tickets, OR at the nearest Cathay Pacific Ticketing Office prior to the flight departure. The cardholder does not need to book and travel. If a transaction is successfully made with "Verified by Visa", or "MasterCard� SecureCode�", the cardholder will not be required to present the physical card used for verification.
I understand that if the cardholder fails to present the physical card originally used for booking transaction, the carrier reserves the right to -
Deny boarding, or
Collect a guarantee payment (in cash or from a new credit card).

I called customer service, they guided me to change the country to USA which showed the price in US dollars. I then paid it with my credit card. Had no other issues...

I am trying to port from EB3-->EB2 but my company is reluctant to pay the attorney fees. I am willing to pay the attorney fees but the company insist they must pay the fee. I thought the company must pay only the filing fees?

If ur case is pending more than 30days from the processing time shown on there website ur lawyer or employer can open a service request(SR).they will send u the decision usually within30days from the date of SR.
Quizzer rd is dec2006 EB2. But there site shows they r processing feb2007 case so after 30 days his lawyer opened a SR and got response that what he meant.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently expanded the reinstatement of premium processing for I-140 petitions. This is a subtle change, still limiting I-140 premium processing to a small group of cases for which the I-140 approval is needed in order to obtain eligibility for additional H1B time. I was reading through a thread here where someone said that since LC substition will be banned soon and 140 will have to be applied within 45 days of labor approval else LC becomes invalid, so it would not be possible to transfer the priority date of a old LC which has I140 approved to a new LC that could be filed in another category since it would be more than 45 days since the old LC was approved. Is this true, if yes, this is the final blow to those apirants in Eb3 aspiring to transfer PD by reapplying in Perm Eb2 and transferring PD based on approved I140. Please respond with comments. Thanks.

I think this is what is happening in your cases,
If you efile for your AP and If your last fingerprinting was done 18 months before Then you will get Fingerprinting notice and you got to go n give new finger prints.
If you paper file, Whether or not your FP expired (18 months) you will never get finger printing notice. (unless your PD is current and they are adjudicating your case and sending a RFE).
Always better to paper file.

dude I am in a similar position.....got laid off on march 27th.....got my 2yr EAD on Apr 1 and now a soft LUD on my 485 on 4/10.........and my date is nowhere close.....its feb 07....not sure whts going on.....I discussed it with an attorney in worse cum worse case I will be exploring the self employment clause onyou EAD......
Anyways if they issue an RFE isn't it generally mentioned there....in my case its not stating any status change........just a soft LUD

I went to a doctor who ripped me off big time. He charged $260 ( $100 Blood + 100 Physical + $60 TB skin test) and charged $330 for my wife( $100 Blood + 100 Physical + $60 TB skin test + $70 for urine) and he asked around $210 dollars/ head for three vaccinations ( MMR, tetanus and chicken pox). I did not get vaccinations from him. Then went to my primary physician for the shots(MMR, tetanus) and took blood test for chicken pox.
It took more than 10 days and it was very stressful experience. Is there a way i can make complain about this doctor?
